by slowhands @, proud of his ancient Dean Forest roots, Tuesday, October 07, 2008, 00:29 (5963 days ago) @ Griff

A two-storeyed house on the east side of the churchyard,
later the Parrot inn, was apparently built in 1706

The Parrot inn, at a house by Hewelsfield churchyard, where a
friendly society met in 1805, (fn. 25) remained open until the first
decade of the 20th century.
