Sidney has recently been accepted by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission as a casualty of the Great War - however he is listed as having no known grave. He died in Plymouth, but I believe that his body was returned home at Lydney for burial. I wonder if you may have any details of his grave. My thanks

Could Sidney Kear's Mother - Ruth Jenkins mentioned in this Posting be the Ruth Kear who Married Caleb Jenkins in 1908 in Bream?

Ruth Kear and her family are listed on the same page of 1881, 1891 and 1901 (including Sidney) censuses as Caleb Jenkins and or other members of his Family.

Does this also mean that Sidney was the illegitimate son of Ruth kear?
I have searched, but cannot find a Baptism Record for Sidney.

Any info much appreciated.

if the mariage cert shows Phoebe as Ruths mother then a very strong chance...

It looks like Ruth is Sidney's Aunt..
