Does anyone know if there is a Last Will and Testament for William Wilce up until now there is only one son stated as been born to William Wilce and his spouce as yet named a John Wilce born 1640. Has anyone established whether there are other siblings. William Wilce birth not established as being in 1615 but there is a Ane Wilce born 1617 is this William Wilce's sister.

My family tree, done a while back by my dad and aunt, shows William Wills b. 1610 being the father of John Wilse bp. 5/17/1640, but I don't have documentation.

I had him previously as born approx 1610 but then changed it to 1615 (estimated)

John Wilse 1670-1711 christened 17 May 1640 in Ruardean Glos. Married Catherine (surname unknown) before 1676. He died 1711 buried 13 Dec. 1711.

Children:
William Wilse Sept 1676 christened on 24 Sep 1676 in Ruardean.
John Wilse 1678 christened 21 July 1676
Thomas Wilse Sept 1680 christened 19 Sept 1680 in ruardean.

John Wilce son of John Wilse and Mary Tailor. was born in Dec. 1702 in Ruardean. he was christened on 3 Jan. 1702/03 in Ruardean. he married Anne EVANS on 7 June 1724 in Awre with Blakeney. John died in Feb. 1771 in Ruardean. He was buried on 1 March 1771 in Ruardean.

Anne EVANS was born in March 1704/05. (estimated) in Aware with Blakeney. She was christened on 4 April 1705 in Awre with Blakeney. She died in Dec. 1773 in Ruardean. She was buried on 22 Dec. 1773 in Ruardean.
She and John had the following children.

John Wilce (1726-1780)

Joseph Wilce 1729-. Joseph was born in July 1726 (estimated) in Ruardean. He was christened on 13 July 1729.

Sarah Wilce 1732-. Sarah was born in January 1731/32 (estimated) in Ruardean She was christened on 30 January 1731/32 in Ruardean.

Ann Wilce 1734- Ann was born in Sep. 1734 (estimated) in Ruardean. She was christened on 15 Sept. 1734 in Ruardean.

John Wilse son of John Wilse and Catherine was born in July 1678 (estimated) in Ruardean. He was christened on 21 July 1678 in Ruardean. He married Mary TAILOR on 23 May 1700 in Walford. Herefordshire. He died in 1730 Will proved.

Mary Tailor was born before 1680. She died in November 1741 in Ruardean. She was buried on 17 Nov. 1741 in Ruardean.
She and John Wilse had the following children.

John Wilce 1702-1771.
Thomas Wilce 1707-1754 Thomas was born in Jan. 1706/07 (estimated) in Ruardean. He was christened on 26 Jan. 1706/07 in Ruardean the address was St. John's. He married Mary Mutloe on 29 May 1727 in Walford. He then married Susanna MARFIELD on 15 Oct. 1730 in Walford. He died in June 1754 in Ruardean. He was buried on 27 June. 1754 in Ruardean.

My wife's grandmother was Damaris Aubrey Wilce, born 1910, Pontypridd.

I don't know if this is relevant since this reply is to a post from 2009, but I have Wilce in my family tree. I have been able to trace the lineage back to a Thomas Wilce born 1599 in Dymock. His father was John Wilce, but that's all I know about the father.

Obviously, researching back in time this far is often more about subjective interpretation than solid facts, so there's no guarantee to the information I've got.
