Thank you again. That was the conclusion I had come to, but have not a clue where he went or whom the mother was! (good guess he could not have done it on his own!!) I know it was common with the Meeks to have another family member bring up usually the eldest (this happened to my mother).
Do you (in your wisdom) know whom the father of George was?
