Captain Angus BUCHANAN VC 1894-1944 Coleford (General)

I usually keep up to date with the forum but have been away for a week or so and missed this entry. Very interesting as my grandfather Arthur Davis from Aylburton served with the South Wales Borderers and alongside Captain Buchanan in the Dardanelles during World War I. When my grandfather returned home he wrote to Captain Buchanan's parents expressing his best wishes following Captain Buchanan's injuries (I seem to recall that he was blinded?). I have the letter his mother sent in reply and an article from the local paper, but not on hand. If the article is of interest I could scan it at a later date.
