Princess Royal pit accident around 1930 (General)

Is anyone aware of an accident that occurred at the Princess Royal Colliery around 1930. My grandfather, Amos Preest, was badly injured at the pit and was off work for approximately one year. When he returned to the pit he had to work above ground, doing light duties only. Unfortunately, he passed away in 1942 at the age of 59, possibly as a result of the injuries he had sustained in the accident.

Check out this web site (search on Princess Royal), it has details of those killed and injured in mining accidents and in some cases, details of the incident.

Thank you for your help. I've checked the site but was unable to find Amos. I'll just have to put this project to one side for the time being.
Many thanks anyway.
