Am planning a Forest ancestors trip , and need to know where were/are MOORWOOD Coppice E.Dean , Anchor Tavern Lydbrook and The Workhouse .

Head for Lydbrook and the high ground around it !
On the Ruardean road out of Lydbrook you willl climb up to Joys Green and teh Readdings, on the left towards the end of Lydbrook is Vention and the Moorwoods.

I am 98% certain that if you leave Lydbrook and head towards Joys Green, then follow the road towards Ruardean, Moorwood is on the left hand side down a narrow road. It is sign posted.
You can get to the Anchor Public Inn by following the road to Lower Lydbrook towards the River Wye, and you can find it on the right hand side. Sorry do not know about the Workhouse.
