Can anyone please help I am really confused Richard MORGAN is my g g grandfather he married Eliza HAMMETT (widow) nee HYETT

On looking at the MORGAN FAMILY HISTORY BY DR CHRISTOPHER JAMES MORGAN 03 FEBRURARY 2007 he stated that his Richard MORGAN born 26th March 1780 married Elizabeth HAMMET on 28th October 1833, Newland , the same date and year as my marriage details.If this is the case my family tree is all wrong - help.
