Hi my name is penny,i am Looking for info on Joseph Meek and Hannan Baldwin.
I have been told that they had 21 children, but i think that that person must of added the children of Joseph Meek and Hannah Cook as well.
Now the qeustion is did Joseph marry both Hannah's or are they 2 seperate people.

I know Joseph Meek and Hannah baldwin had 3 chidren Lidia 1817, Thomas 1819 and Amelia 1821, Amelia was born Amelia jane and was known as Jane meek

If anyone can help and shed some light on this matter plaese do so.

Not surprised you are confused about the Meeks - there are a lot of others on here with the same problem [ including me!]

If you look at previous threads [including the recent one from Marion] you will see that we have very little information about the Joseph Meek who married Hannah Baldwin, but the two Josephs you mention are definitely two separate people. If you peruse the previous threads you will get some more information and be as up to date as the rest of us!

Ann Meek b 1815
Plus Lidia, Thomas and Amealia.

Hi Brian, i have been searching around for joseph Meek 1771ish and have come to the conclustion that Joseph Meek and Ann Harris are Not his parents.

I think Joseph Meek 1771ish parents might be either a George Meek and Elizabeth or William Meek an Ann Pride.
