Hello - Can anyone help me find the maiden names of my ggg grandmother Eliza Morgan and my gg grandmother Maria Morgan. Eliza turns up in the 1851 census in Hinders Lane, Little Dean, with her husband William Morgan (b 1814 in Lea Bailey) with children Hannah 12, William 13, Hubert 7, Amos 5 and James 9. James turns in the same household, unmarried,in the 1861 census in Flaxley. In the 1871 census James has acquired a wife Maria and children Leonard 5, Charles 4 and Hubert 2. Maria was born in Coleford about 1840. I have searched everywhere for a marriage entry for both William and James with no success. Can anyone help. Thanks

You have a clue in the Census in that Eliza's brother Ephraim LEADBETTER/LEADBEATER is lodging with them.
Eliza LEADBETTER was baptised at Littledean Parish Church on 17 January 1821. Her parents: James LEADBETTER and Jemima MORGAN who married 25 October 1810.

William MORGAN married Eliza March Quarter 1838, Westbury on Severn Registration District. Volume 11 Page 437.
