PAINE, Oxenhall, Gorsley and Newent (General)
Thanks for this information, much appreciated. I understand from the Gorsley Parish site that the common was pretty much wild until the turn of the 19C - is there any record of dwellings, living conditions etc on the Common? My own family legends indicate caravans rather than houses?
