looking for the baptism/parents of Sarah Bennett who married Jonathan Marfell ruardean 1730. There seems to be 2 possible options:
Sarah Bennett 1705 ruardean parents Richard and Grace or Sarah Bennett 1708 Hope Mansell parents Joan and Edmund. Can anyone shed any light!

sorry Jim, after re-reading your email about the Marfells I now know it wasnt Richard and Grace. It therefore seems Sarah's parents must be Edmund and Joan - do you have Joans maiden name - there again seems to be 2 possibilities - Joan Smith or Joan Lodge......

I have Edmund Bennett married Joan Smith 4 April 1703 at Weston under Penyard. The marriage record says both of Hope Mansell. I agree it was their daughter Sarah who married Jonathan Marfild.

I assume that Joan Smith was the one baptised at Weston under Penyard 1 May 1686 to Jonathon & Joan.

I cannot find Edmund Bennett's baptism, do you have any detail ?

I have Edmund son of John & Joan Bennett baptised 6 Dec 1679 at Walford with John Bennett married Joan Townsend 30 September 1676 at Walford. I didn`t have Joan Smith`s baptism.
