Wye Valley Trowmen (General)

I would be very interested in any tales, wills, adverts or anything else beyond PR and census entries for trowmen that worked the Wye Valley, especially before 1800. I am researching the Syner family but any info regarding the other families who worked the river for generations would be most welcome.
