1911 Wales Census
I've looked at your suggested link, but the 1911 Wales Census does seem to be there. I noticed the announcement in The Times - but may be it is not fully 'public' yet?

Hi Dennis
I have a subscription to Findmypast where the 1911 Census is located. Although I did not know and have not been informed by them that Wales was now included, I checked and put Selby Monmouthshire and it came up. I have just checked Bertha's link and it sent me straight to my page on Findmypast. I don't know what happens when you do not have a subscription.

1911 Wales Census
Hi All
The Wales counties ARE now added to the 1911 census and the parts of the Forest that come under Chepstow / Monmouthshire are definately included. The 'What is covered' column hasn't been updated itself but the counties are there to search. Although the index is free to search, the transcribed and full versions of records can only be viewed by 'Pay as you go' and are not available on subscription (even to existing users of FindMyPast). A slight niggle if you are unsure of an exact match! I believe this may change later 2011?
I have used the new version to find Forest (Lydney area under the district of Chepstow, Monmouthshire) and Welsh entries.
ps. Just checked the help pages on the website and found-
1911 census records can only be viewed using PayAsYouGo credits on this website. There will be a subscription service available on findmypast.com (new window) later in 2009.
