Merry Family (General)

by Keith Nash, Wednesday, August 12, 2009, 12:31 (5656 days ago)

I am starting research on my maternal family and would like contact with anyone who has researched, or has kowledge of the Merry family. Working backwards from John Merry age 15 in 1841, DOB 1826. He was at that time living with Thomas NASH in Clay Lane, Ellwood.
I know that John Merry married twice, the second time,1n 1858? to Eliza Powell DOB 1828, when he was 33. I have no knowledge of his first marriage, but his son
William DOB 1853/4 would have been from the first marriage.
Any info would be most welcome.

Hello shetlandlady.
My maternal grandmother was Elizabeth Merry B1878-I have tracked her back to Thomas Merry B1871.
What is causing me problems is who her husband was?
He was ?Thomas Morgan????? any info?.
If you need anything I have, let me know.

Prior thread - is to alert you and others to a prior question that appears linked to this new question - it can saves time and the duplicating of effort

correct branch ? - is a query because it appears ( but not 100% sure) to be the branch under question.
