Samuel MILLARD 1854 - 1934 Gloucester (General)

by slowhands @, proud of his ancient Dean Forest roots, Friday, August 14, 2009, 16:47 (5654 days ago) @ Lawrencef

Hatton's Northgate Brewery in George Street, Gloucester was about the only local brewery I know of in Gloucester - Wintles at Mitcheldean, Godsells and others supplied beer. George Street is in teh centre of Gloucester - today the rail station is very close by - and was probably in Wotton St Mary . Barnwood is to the east of Gloucester on the road to Cirencester and London.

Ind Coope took over the Northgate Brewery in the 1890's, Ind was a Romford Essex Brewer (!) could this be the "driver" behind the Essex connections for Samuel; and the brewery who " are after me".

1911
MILLARD SAMUEL M 1855 56 Gloucester Gloucestershire
MURRAY GILBERT M 1900 11 Gloucester Gloucestershire
NICHOLLS LILIAN MARY F 1875 36 Gloucester Gloucestershire
MILLARD MARY F 1845 66 Gloucester Gloucestershire ??

http://www.forum.forest-of-dean.net/index.php?id=18416

I have searched and I'm not convinced he died by 1915 ( after this date the index of deaths is less accessible ( at the present time)) - wasnt there a child born around 1920 in Essex ?

The BEALE marriage ??

I wonder if there is a divorce or bigamy with the BEALE name ?

1911
SMITH OLIVE F 1889 22 Westbury on Severn Gloucestershire

so I think this narrows the search to 1911 - 1914

I must keep up with your blog !
