1871 census RG10/2600 page 20 transcribed as LIER shows Richard aged 33 years and Dinah aged 29 years - at least according to my records and of course I cannot readily find my copy of the original! Maybe it was just a search result!

JACKSON Ruspidge thread

1871 census shows Richard Sier (born 1837) and Dinah (born 1841) as married, together with nephew John Jacksons aged 2 years.

Also on the 1871 census for East Dean is John Jacksons marriage with Sarah and three children - Elizabeth (5 years), John (aged 2 years) and Daniel aged 2 weeks. Is John Jackson aged 2 years a double recording - or are they different people?

Sarah (born c.1847) appears to be a daughter of Jonah Head, so I am thinking maybe Dinah/Diana (b.c.1842) was a sister to Sarah - although I cannot find any verification of this. Can anyone please help confirm that I am on the right track.

At the moment I'd keep an open mind to there being two individuals - a John JACKSONS and a John JACKSON
