Ewart Frank Jones

Hi,
I'm trying to find details on the marriage & death of Ewart Frank Jones.My wife's' Uncle Frank' was born 1915 to Bessie & William Jones. I have details of all his siblings but marriage & death info has evaded me on him. I know his wife was called Peggy(but was Peggy a nickname for Margaret,he worked on the Railways, they lived in Chesterfield. He died of lung cancer, we don't know when but we know it was before 1979, we believe he died in the 1970s.We know he had a son (maybe more children)who was a jockey.I have been all through marriages 1930-1960 using first name of Ewart & Frank. I been through deaths 1970-2005, but I'm now thinking he died pre 1970.I've tried both Peggy & Margaret with no surname marrying a Jones not luck. My brother in law was at his grandparents in Blakeney at the outbreak of war and Frank was living there, but he can't swear that he was married at the time. He was the only child of Bessie & William to leave the county all the rest stayed in Gloucestershire.My wife only met him once and that was at Bessie's funeral in the 1960s, so she has no info. I'm going to search through the 1960s.If anyone could help with any other info I would be grateful.

If so is this Ewart's marriage:
Ewart H Jones m Florence M Booth Chesterfield March 1942?
Could the M in Florence Booth be Margaret (Peggy)?

Thanks for the reply.My brother in law has spoken to one of their cousins and she is in the same position as us, not knowing anything of Frank & Peggy. The only piece of info she could give she thinks the son was called David, but not 100%.Nobody seems to know if Peggy is still alive, my wife saw her at a funeral in the 'Forest' in the early 80s.
I now find I can't search the Death Indexes 1837 – 1983 in Ancestry!.All the other indexes work ok but not that one. I've cleared my cookies etc. Anyone else having trouble?

Morning,
Update for Ewart Frank Jones.After nearly a year researching Frank I have a result.Frank died 9 November 1979 in Chesterfield.His wife was called Peggy but it was not(in her case) short for anything.When she was born her mother liked Martha and her father liked Peggy,she was named Martha Ann Lewis.Everyone called her Peggy and when she went to school the teacher called out Martha Lewis she didn't answer as she thought her name was Peggy!.They had two children in Chesterfield.The jockey part is correct.I obtained Frank's death certificate and it had his address and the informant his son.I checked out the son's address and he still lives there, I rang the number and no reply. So I wrote to him last week and within a couple of days he rang Joan(wife) and we had a long chat, he filled in a few blanks.So it pays to keep going.
