This query was lost in another thread about Edward HALE 1706, and I've had no responses so I've started a new thread in the hope that someone will be able to help.
Does anyone know who the parents of Sarah HALE bap. 8 Jul 1770 in Littledean, daughter of Edward HALE and Hannah, were?
I thought that she was the daughter of Edward HALE 1723 and Hannah BEARD, but if the other thread is correct, that would give us THREE Hannah BEARDS - surely at least one too many.
There are 17 children baptised between 1728 and 1776 in Littledean whose parents are Edward HALE and Hannah.
The previous thread mentioned Joseph, Mary 1728, Edward 1730, Mary 1735, Elizabeth 1737, Aaron 1741, Anthony 1745, William 1747, Samuel 1750 and John 1756.
There are also Mary 1753, Thomas 1760, Joseph 1765, Elizabeth 1767, Sarah 1770, William 1773 and Jane 1776.
I haven't been able to trace a marriage for Edward HALE 1730, but I wondered if he could be the father of Sarah (and some of the others).
Can anyone help?
