Edward MEEK bn 1873/1878 (General)
I have Edward (a 3rd cousin) as a son of James Meek and Selina Read. He and parents appear in 1881, 1891 and 1901 census (1891 has widely differing ages to other two). He appears to have married Ellen Marshall q1 1899 reg Westbury, but is listed on 1901 census as being single. His son Arthur Meek bn 1904 married Freda Matilda Brain.
I like to think of my family history as a story with no conflicts, can anyone shed light on the discrepancies, please? Several other researchers seem to have Edward who married Ellen as son of James and Selina.

Answering own post, but another query!
Certain now that the Edward Meek who was son of James and Selina was NOT the one who married Ellen Marshall. However, I'm still struggling with any descendants of the former and parents of the latter! Any help gratefully received, please & thanks.
