Edwin Niblett 1823 & Sarah Jones 1819 (General)

I am trying to trace the families of my 2nd Great Grandparents Edwin and Sarah Niblett. Edwin was born abt 1823 in St Briavels and Sarah was born abt 1819 in Pillowell. They were married 24 Dec 1844 in St Briavels , both fathers were called Thomas, Edwin's was a farmer and Sara's was a blcksmith. The witness at the wedding were Elias Niblett and Frances Niblett. Edwin died in 1875 and Sarah died in 1904. Any info would be of a great help.

Elias, the witness, was my 2nd Greatgrandfather so Edwin was my 2nd Great grand uncle. Their father, as you may know from FoD records was baptised Jan 1796 at Hewelsfield. He was married to Nancy Edwards d/o Samuel and Joanna Edwards of Harthill Court. (Gravestone in Hewelsfield churchyard). Thomas & Nancy had 15 children. They were buried in Shirenewton, Monmouthshire.Nancy left Thomas, son of Edwin £1 in her will and likewise to Edwin's wife Sarah.
Thomas(father of Edwin) was son of John Niblett ( bz 28/1/1762) and Margaret Adams (She being his second wife) . Jophn was most likely the son of John Niblett and Martha Wilcox though this is not proven.

Just as an interesting footnote Edwin's sister, Frances (bz 6/2/1825) married John Lawrence at St Woolas, Monmouthshire (26/8/1849). He was the Second cousin twice removed of T.E.Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia)
