Currently Researching James family Line (General)
Good evening.
I am on this line of the tree at the moment and can see how tricky it is going to be.
I have James' marrying into various twigs of my tree, but here is the main line.
1.Hannah Maria Parker(nee James) 1882-1951.
Siblings James Partridge 1/2 Brother,Elizabeth,Oliver,Hartley and Rueben.
Hannahs' parents John James 1847-1903 and Harriet Partridge 1850-c1922.
Johns' siblngs Harriet,Charlotte,Sarah,James,Alvan,Esther and Charles.
John James' parents Charles James 1821-? and Ann Belcher 1821-1905.
I believe that Charles' father was Richard James and Mother to be Ann but am unsure which Ann he married.
I have all details of BMDs as far back as Charles, as I think his father Richard moved around a bit I also think there are siblings for Charles but also think there might be more than one Richard.

Hi
Sorry
Hannah Parker(nee James) was from Viney Hill, other areas I believe to be Oldcroft,Awre and possibly Lydney.
Sort of around that area.

I wonder if you can help join up some JAMES twigs.
I have found a Richard from FoD in South Wales
1901
Mary A James abt 1859 Hay, Breconshire, Wales Head Tredegar, Monmouthshire ( married)
Jane James abt 1882 Bedwellty, Monmouthshire, Wales Daughter Tredegar, Monmouthshire
Annie James abt 1885 Bedwellty, Monmouthshire, Wales Daughter Tredegar, Monmouthshire
Mary A James abt 1888 Bedwellty, Monmouthshire, Wales Daughter Tredegar, Monmouthshire
Charlotte M James abt 1892 Bedwellty, Monmouthshire, Wales Daughter Tredegar, Monmouthshire
Thomas Hy James abt 1900 Bedwellty, Monmouthshire, Wales Son Tredegar, Monmouthshire
1891
Richard James abt 1859 Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England Head Bedwellty, Monmouthshire

Mary A James abt 1888 Abertillery, Monmouthshire, Wales Daughter Bedwellty, Monmouthshire
Caroline James abt 1890 Tredegar, Monmouthshire, Wales Daughter Bedwellty, Monmouthshire
I suspect this Richard is living in 1901 nearby with this Oldcroft JAMES unit
1901
William James abt 1863 Oldcroft, Gloucestershire, England Head Abertillery, Monmouthshire

Gilbert Partridge abt 1889 Lydney, Gloucestershire, England Adopted Son Abertillery, Monmouthshire
Richard James abt 1859 Oldcwft, Gloucestershire, England Boarder Abertillery, Monmouthshire
If this is correct then I suspect that this Richard and William are brothers and the sons of Richard JAMES and Ann PARTRIDGE.
