Occupation - Neddy Keeper (General)

by Brian Meek @, Tuesday, November 10, 2009, 18:03 (5567 days ago)

Can anyone help please.
I'm finding an occupation of 'Neddy [sic] Keeper' given to a father on a birth certificate. Does anyone know what job this was??
The certificates were from about 1850 and the address given was May Hill, if this will help.

Thanks Brian

Yes, possible, Horse or Donkey, seems obvious, 'Neddy', or am I reading more into it?

Thanks Brian
