Lavinia Preston ORGAN, b. 1810 Maisemore (General)

I am trying to trace a Melinda or Lavinia Organ who married Joshua Dowdeswell in St Mary de Lode, Gloucestershire in 1831, they later moved to Brockworth then Hucclecote. However, Melinda/Lavinia was born in Maisemore.

Family tradition states that Melinda/Lavinia was adopted and was named Melinda before reverting back to Lavinia in the 1850s.

I have found a possible baptism for her in Maisemore in 1810 (the census states that she was born in Maisemore in about 1810). However, it is curiously written. Can anyone shed any light on the wording of this baptism? Can I draw any conclusions about the possible father?

There is also a similar entry in 1811, Maisemore for a William Preston a son of Martha Organ.

I would need to see the Register or image of it , but the literal explanation of the Note is that it may show the baptism of a Lavinia PRESTON, who is descibed as the illeg. dr of a Martha ORGAN. { i.e. not a Lavinia ORGAN}
