George Watkins, birthplace as Syden, Gloucestershire (General)

The 1911 census gives my g't grandfathers birthplace as Syden, Gloucestershire.
Can anyone please tell me if there is such a place? or give me a clue as to what Syden might be a corruption of?
I live in hopes. in the meantime may I wish a happy & prosperous new-year to
one & all.
