Seeking Susan/Campbell, CA posted in 2001 about John Elton (General)

The original message that I found in the archived forums reads:

I have a John Elton born around 1777 who md. in Evesbatch 1811 & died in Castle Frome 1824. 'Trying to find his birth and parents. There is a John Elton born to Francis & Betty (Woodcock) Elton in Kempley, Glouc. about that time. They had a rather large family. I'm wondering if there is any particular reason historically that would have moved John Elton from Kempley up north a bit at that time. It would be nice to make this connection.

I am also trying to find this info and was wondering if Susan or anyone else might have found some information?
