I can't find a birth reg in 1902 for this child.. If he is one of mine I am not surprised to find no baptism... but still unable to trace in the indexes..

Help please!! :)

Thanks

Burial record Notes: In this record a forename was not clear so the best guess was given

It always helps to list the parents and siblings names if known so a cross reference can be made with other records.

This maybe him!

Thanks Dave :)

this goes back to my previous listing

http://www.forum.forest-of-dean.net/index.php?id=21489

has changed a bit since then as I found that Lizzie b 1895 was actually the first child Elizabeth, b 1890, I had listed her date of birth wrong, she was baptised same day as sister Gladys at Christchurch and I got a bit mixed up.

Also realised that mum must of had 16 children in all as she was carrying 1 of the children I had found at the time of the 1911 census.

None of the other surviving children were baptised until 1912 when they were all done together at Coleford before placement in an orphanage.

1912 HOWELL Annie Louisa Baptism Coleford
1912 HOWELL Sarh Ann Baptism Coleford
1912 HOWELL George Evan Baptism Coleford
1912 HOWELL William Baptism Coleford
1912 HOWELL Arthur John Baptism Coleford
1912 HOWELL Raymond Henry Baptism Coleford still being carried by Elizabeth at time of 1911 census

just to confuse more, mum Elizabeth was born illigitemately as Ward but stepdad was John Watkins, so could she have listed any others she had illigitemately as Watkins instead of Ward!!? Yikes!

My head is spinning trying to work out possible children! tried allsorts on the advanced search.

Hey ho off we go again :)

Thanks
