Transcript I think is correct (General)

Thanks for submitting the request which I have just answered but for the benefit of others I have copied my reply below.

I don't think you will ever be able to confirm the correct date of birth or baptisms for certain as things just were not all that accurate in those days and often incorrect dates were recorded in documents because it was convenient to do so.

I will consult with Graham on this one but I believe the entry we have as being stated as 1890 is correct.

I do not have copies of the originals to look at but I do have the transcripts and looking through them I noticed that the dates are generally not in order.

These are circuit records and what I think has happened is that the baptisms were preformed in different locations and then later the details were entered into a Register that was probably kept at a central location. The details arriving possibly months later in some cases at the central location from other places and this is the reason for them not being in date order.
