Clearwell or Clowerwall? (General)

by Patricia @, Sunshine Beach, Queensland, Australia, Friday, January 08, 2010, 06:28 (5508 days ago)

In a couple of baptism records, the Residence is listed as Clowerwall. Would I be right in thinking that this was probably Clearwell?
Thanks for any assistance,
Patricia

The village was once named Wellington "the place of the spring" then Clowerwell meaning "spring among the clover" from which Clearwell is derived
