Hi John
Yes I believe Ann to be the mother and whilst the Forest of Dean website has added to the information that I have on my Hathaway's,I don't have a marriage for Thomas and Ann, nor a birth date for him.

Other Hopkin(s) who have married into to my Hathaway line include:
Alice who married a Samuel Hathaway on 7 August 1758 in Hewelsfield,
Ann who married a Warren Hathaway on either the 12th or the 18th of June 1730 in Hewelsfield,

My Hathaways came to NZ on the Brothers Pride IN 1863. They ,anded in Lyttleton and settled in Oxford in North Canterbury. As far as I can tell they were there from the early 60's to around 1890 before they moved to Wellington which is where I live
Kind regards
Alan
