by raylloyd, Tuesday, February 02, 2010, 10:44 (5483 days ago)

I am researching the birth of Henry Taylor,1840/41, it appears his birth wasn't registered, so am looking to see if their was a baptism, according to census data his place of birth was either, Lydbrook, Lydney, and St Braivels, having just checked the parish records for these area, still a blank, any help would be welcome.
Thanks.

Thanks Slowhands.
Yes this is the Henry Taylor I am looking for, born as Bevan not Taylor, and
it would appear that his birth would have been registered as Bevan not Taylor if at all.

His parents were William Tatlor and Elizabeth Bevan.

Thanks again.
Ray.

If the census record is right they would appear to have been married before his birth in October.
