Has Ancestry changed it's format (General)
I use Ancestry almost every day and have found it invaluable and straightforward to use. I would not expect to access so many databases for free. If I was really strapped for cash, I'd access Ancestry for free in a public library, but to sit in the comfort of my home and use all their databases for hour after hour for about three pounds a week seems pretty good value.
As with any tool, you do have to work to get the best out of it. LDS, 1911 census and even the Parish Records on this site have different ways to search, and I believe that this variety can be very useful, especially when those brick walls are met.
