Harriet Laura Annie Perkins nee Matthews 1873 -1908 (General)

After a number of emails and contacts from numerous members of the Matthews family and their relatives I now consider that I have most of the information regarding my grandmother ANNIE. I thank everyone who has added to my knowledge.
That information is now on my family tree together with this memoriam:

Misc*: IN MEMORIAM
About 1908 Grandma Annie took her own life in a hospital in Tennessee having a terminal illness, knowing that her husband George was not allowed to reenter the USA to rejoin her since he had TB and that her two children aged 7 and 6 were overseas in the UK. She must have been distraught.
This note by her grandson, on behalf of those of her family whom she had never met, is in her memory and also that of Grandfather George Westley who died of his illness, 1909, in the UK some five months later of TB. Grateful thanks are due to members of the Matthews family, both in the UK and in the USA, for their help in finding this record. I still do not have a death certificate or know where she was buried.
