Thank you for those that sent info on Thomas Sydney Thomson - Yes I think he perhaps was born in the London area - having just found his brothers.
It is 'hard' to find any birth/baptisms for the late 1700's but will keep persuing.
I wonder why he came to Gloucestershire when the info I have on his brothers'. Seems to suggest they stayed in the London area. His brother, Octavius, Frederick Septimus, and Denzil Ibbetson Thomson all in London area.
