Coal Pit Accident West Dean 07 March 1861 (General)

Further to my search for information on Mary Ann/Rhoda Jane Hawkins, with much help from you all and also the people at the Muller Charitable Trust, I am a little further on with my information.

I am now looking for details on the death of their father - Nathaniel Hawkins (b18/08/1828), as we now have a death cert for 07/03/1861 "accidentally killed in a coal pit". There is mention of an inquest which looks like 9th March 1861, but it may not be a 9. Wouldn't this be a little early after the accident ?.

Locating the inquest details would be of great interest. I can't see anything in the FOD inquest records. It there any other records place I can do a search (electronically) on the matter.
