The shop was indeed on High Street, Cinderford, here is a photo of High Street which clearly shows the shop. The photo is on the Commanet website under the Forest of Dean Project.

Looking again through the many old photos of the Forest on the Commanet website I think it will be better for me to suggest to people to submit their photos to this site rather than including them on the FOD Genealogy pages.
