On the 1841 Census, George HAYWARD appears to be living in the High Street, and seems to be working for a Trainer

Edmund JONES - 45
Ann JONES - 45
Elizabeth JONES - 14

there is then a list of (surnames as transcribed on Ancestry)

Eliza MORGAN - 19 - House Servant
Chs BRADFORD - 15 Groom Boy
Chs REEVERS - 18 - Stable Boy
George HAYWARD - 20 - Stable Man
Bissele JOSEPH - 20 - Stable Man
Thos SLACH - 15 - Stable Boy
Wm HITCHEN - 15 - Stable Boy
Thos RAYMER - 14 - Stable Boy
Gos RAYNER - 14 - Stable Boy
Tos TUSTIN - 16 - Stable Boy

and by looking at later census returns, Edmund JONES is at Ogbourne St Andrew, Wiltshire, as a Horse Trainer -googling, it would appear Prestbury, Gloucestershire, has long connections with racing.
