I have just come across this forum and am very interested in knowing more of this story. I am descended from the family of Amelia and am extremely interested in any more information on the family of the Merritt's , James Merritt being mentioned as her Step brother. Does anyone know of any connections here? Does anyone also know about the London connections with the family?
