William and Priscilla Adair 1891 (General)

by Brian Ellis, Tuesday, June 07, 2005, 11:59 (7101 days ago)

William Adair b about 1839 Scotland married Priscilla Ann Ellis in Cardiff district 1876. In the 1881 Census they are at 27 Godfrey St Cardiff where William is listed as a General labourer age 42 and Priscilla as 28 born Lydney.
I have Priscilla in the 1901 Census as a widow aged 47 and wonder if someone (!) could look her up in 1891 to see if William is still alive. Many thanks.

No, No, this Someone is a Gloster Boy in (South) Wales :-)

For the record There is a suburb of Liverpool called Scotland, now did Mr Adair come from north of Hadrian's Wall or Liverpool, I see he is recorded as a Mariner in 1891 ...

Thank you Gloucester boy! I realised as soon as I sent it that you didn't mean that you were a scowser...and there are too many William Adair deaths in Liverpool to discover which is the right one unfortunately..ah me!
