The Parish Transcripts give two possibilities as you know for William's marriage.Either to Ann Holford or Mary Niblett.
There are also two likely candidates for William's death - 1845 aged 77 or 1855 aged 72.
There is a burial for a Mary Mann in 1866 aged 70 at Awre.(a birth around 1796 would eliminate either of the above marriages so cannot be her but maybe an unmarried sister for James or other relative).
The 1851 census for Westburry gives a William Maun/Mann (71) born Hartpury with Mary (56)born Westbury and a granddaughter Hannah (2). Her age would not be compatible with a marriage in 1804.
The 1851 census for Awre gives Charles Mann (42) born Churcham with wife Harriet and Mary Mann - widow aged 67 born Westbury. That would agree with birth of Mary Niblett in 1783 (My real interest). That could make Charles a brother for James and Henry - the dates fit but on first look I couldn't find a suitable parish transcript for a baptism. His designation on censuses changes between birthplace at Churcham and Westbury on Severn.
The 1841 census of Awre has William (Mance on Ancestry) aged 70 and Mary aged 55 with James aged 25. This date would again be compatible with Mary Niblett given the rounding up and down of the 1841 census.
For me the evidence would tend towards Mary Niblett being his wife but it may never be provable.
