I am descended from William Henry Probert(b.1852).
He is the brother to Eliza Probert who married William Blewitt.
William Henry married (1) Sarah Curtis(dau. of Jacob Curtis. Following her death, he immigrated to the United States around 1880, with their daughter, Florence. They settled in Lonaconing, Allegany, Maryland where he married (2)Anna Irene Dutton; and they had six children; from which I am descended from the youngest child of this union.

Another sister, Mary Ann Probert(who married Joseph Hadley-son of Henry Hadley) had also immigrated to the United States. Their parents, Thomas Probert & Mary(Price) Probert had also immigrated about the same time.

Thomas Probert is said to have returned to England, where he died.

Mary(Price) Probert stayed on in the United States and died in 1919. She is buried in Frostburg, Maryland;
as is Mary Ann Probert Hadley;
as well as William Henry Probert.

Another sister, Elizabeth, who married Thomas Barnett(son of William) also immigrated eventually to the United States and settled in the same area of Maryland.
