The 1871 James Ruck who married Frances Jones is my 3x Great Granduncle. His parents were John Ruck and Susannah Clifton. My 4x Great Grandparents. His sister Letitia married Edmund Fletcher, my 3x Great Grandparents. Harriet is their daughter.

James Ruck who married Harriet Worgan (nee Fetcher) parents I believe were John Ruck & Hannah Niblett.
Hannah Fetcher is my 2x Great Grandaunt. I have not found this James in 1871.

Hope this makes sense.

Hannah C is not shown as step daughter to head of household in the 81/91 census data

or with "father" James in 1871

who is missing in 1881/91 censuses - but how a Wharf workers daughter from Lydney morphs into Hannah C Ruck is beyond me at the momnet

She appears in the 1881/1891 census records as the daughter of Harriet (nee Fletcher) and James Ruck.

My problem is I cannot find her birth or any records after 1891.

I don't believe she is Harriets daughter as she doesn't appear in the 1871 census. Also, Harriet was married to George Worgan at this time and he died in 1875.

I do not know if James was married before as I cannot find him in the 1871 census records, and I can only see the civil registration for his marriage to Harriet
