Charles Cumper Chepstow Marriage (General)
Confirmation on Charles Cumper and Elizabeth from Chepstow, took someones advice and look again on the Family Search Pilot and think I have found the Marriage of Charles Cumper and Elizabeth Cole Married in Bristol St James Parish 23 Sept 1815 index batch M01054-9 Was wondering if their was a way of confirming this or if anyone does look ups as i am unable to go to Bristol to look up the document myself - would this give me the information on who their parents are if this is the correct Charles Cumper I would like advise on how I can check this out.

I have a marriage record from St James dated 1807 and it only gives the Witnesses names I'm afraid. There are another two marriages on the same page and they are the same.

Thank you for your information are the witness any Cumpers or other names, would you be able to tell me the others on the page you mentioned are they cumpers or compers spelling seems to change sometimes have you any ideas on how i can find thier marriage or even Charles Cumpers Birth as cant seem to find that either keep hitting brick walls with this.

Thank you MP Griffiths - I have tried the One tree Cumper Garath site he was going to send me some info but never got it, I tried to reply but email kept coming back - but he said he didnt have much more on that line either. I will see if I can find out about Elizabeth Cole and see if this is Might throw something up going this way round. Its ashame they didnt have Wedding Certificates in those days! AS Charles was a Mariner and was lost at sea I have been told on the THE POWERFUL, do you know where any documents would be held for this. Would this be London Archives.
