Hi
I have been researching the Davis family of Hartpury and Maisemore. One of them married Hester/Esther Ballinger.

Would this be helpful

Hi Phil

I don't quite know what you mean by please post again.... However, I think she died in Newent in 1850, born about 1871. Her parents were Charles and Hester.

Sorry I took a while to reply, just noticed your message in the 'junk' file.

Hi Phil, I have just seen your post referring to the "Ballinger" name.

My husband's g.g.grandad was William Ballinger who was born in 1800 and married Providence Bennett June 18th 1823. They lived in Whitchurch and his g. grandad was born in Whitchurch in 1826 and his name was Henry William.

We know from personal exploration that there are several Ballinger families in the churchyard in Whitchurch.

I hope this information my be of some use to you, if it is, my husband has further info on descending Ballingers.

Kind regards Janet.

Hi

This is waaayyy too late. If you want to make contact again re the Ballingers, I will check back in during the week. Not sure how to give you access to my email address in the profile.

Also, had a message from Anthony Charles Davis in Tasmania. If he is still on this site would appreciate a contact. We are both descended from the same Charles Davis of Maisemore and are both in Australia.

And lastly, have been trying everywhere to find a death record for a child born January 1872 and who died about 1876. Have the birth certificate but can not find any verifiable death certificate. He had died by 1877.

Regards and thank you in anticipation
