Esther WATKINS married Benjamin JOHNSON 1884 (reply)

Esther WATKINS married Benjamin JOHNSON at the Register Office, Ross in 1884. Esther is listed as a Spinster aged 44 and Benjamin is listed as a Widower aged 35.

There is nothing recorded to indicate that Benjamin was the father of any of the 7 children born between 1859 and 1876 which according to census records Esther was the mother.

Please read my posting back in 2005 which explains more about Esther and the 7 children. This posting is no longer up to date as I have discovered a lot more information on the family since then. Unfortunately though nothing to determine who fathered any of the 7 children.
Having looked at several websites and all the spelling permutations I could only find the obvious... also pleased for my sanity to see its a slightly tricky tree.

The Watkins tree site is excellent, particularly for those like myself with roots in Ruardean area. Please can anyone advise any nonsubscription sites, similar to Glos BMD or FoDFH, serving Herefordshire, like this tree I have probable ancestors there ?.
