Hubert Vedmore, the youngest son of William and Rhoda, married an ancestor of mine named Rose Phipps in 1909. They had three children, Gladys, Gordon and Kathleen. He died in 1965.

that he was born at Llangarron rather than Buckholt

Need to check the parish boundary for Llangarron / Welsh Newton and the area north of Monmouth that is today known as Buckholt.

but I too suspect that William 1824/25 is the son of :-

Thank you for your help.

Familysearch.org gives the baptism of William Vedmere to Thomas and Anne on 08 Aug 1824 at LLangarren. Since the censuses state that he was born at Llangarron rather than Buckholt these are the more likely parents?

I am trying to find general family information, particularly of the oral history kind, and ideally also to locate photographs of my great grandparents William VEDMORE (1850-1903) and his wife Rhoda (nee MORGAN) (1851-1932) who lived in the Row at Whitecroft most of their lives.
