There is a website: on the PACE family which states, Thomas had married Ann GEORGE - who followed him out to Tasmania with two children (Brian POPE) - Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire UK.

Yes that is the couple.
My friend was always told the story about a relative (Thomas Pace b 1816 ish ) who was transported to tazmania for stealing a sheep, so we thought these two families are joined somehow.

Kemerton is northeast of Tewkesbury, was once in Glos but now Worcestershire, so a little outside of this site's Forest of Dean coverage. However it's very near the River Avon which feeds the Severn, both major transport links in the past, so it does seem possible William & Elizabeth are linked to the Westbury area.

I hope someone can help me, I am researching this family tree for a dear friend, he is sure that William Pace born 1740 married Elizabeth Sallis is related to the pace family from Westbury on Severn, then Richard pace born 1581 moved to Prees then John pace ch October 1651 moved to Hodnet then Thomas b 1724 married Jane and moved to Stockton,nr Bridgnorth Shropshire.
Any help would be gratefully received.
