Im not sure on whos who here, The Harris family only join the Hales by the marriage of Phyllis Harris and Henry Mark Hale and the connection between Mary A Reece and Annie Jane Reece. These would be my cousins decendants.

Yes you are right, the offspring they are my aunts and uncle. I am the daughter
of Marjorie. There is also Joan and Trevor to add to your list
Trevor died aged 1.

My mum, Marjorie, and my aunties Dorothy, Betty and Edna are all living,

That is also the correct marriage, apparently Henry Mark Hales mother Mary
is connected to Annie Jane Reece
I can go down further on this tree there are lots of Harris and Hales alive and
kicking in the forest but they might start moaning at me for putting their names

That is def the one, have confirmed this with the living relatives
I believe Annie had a relative Mary who married a Hale, who had a
son Mark who then married George James Samuel Harris
daughter.
So my gggrandfather was James Harris whos son was william george, and im guessing the witness
Samuel was the brother.

Hi, Im not sure of the connection on these. I found the five acres Harris and I do not think they are the right Harris, may have a connection though.

I believe it is Annie Jane Reece and William Harris married chapel cinderford st john on 23 dec 1893.

as their first 2 sons were named, William and George James samuel

Oh gosh Annie Reece was named as a witness at (George) James Samuel amd Gladys Lilly Boultons Wedding in 1928
BUT the other witness Norman Victor Remnant then married a Annie Reece in Dec 1928.
Annies names would have been Harris in 1928 so this could be a relative?????

Have you got the 1911 from the census?
and im really interested in the possible Annie Rees marriage, where did you find that?
Im trying to go back another generation and looking for the parents names of William George and Annie.
It is believed that Annie was in someway connected to a Mary Hale but this was her married name. She was mother to Mark Hale.

Had a quick look at Public Members Trees and your tree is there with lots of living HARRIS family (tree Martyn HARRIS) but doesn't seem (yet) to tie up with the 1911 census (showing they had been married 10 years) and the tree on Ancestry gives children much earlier than this!!!
