I'm looking for information about John & Ann Powell, who lived at Hewler's/Uler's Farm Brain's Green . John is there on the electoral register in 1843 and they are both there on the 1850 census. I think Elizabeth was born in 1818 in Awre and she married William Wood in 1850. But I can't find a marriage for John & Ann in Awre and am wondering whether they arrived there from an adjoining parish. There's a John Powell marrying Ann Brooks in Redmarley in October 1808 but not sure if it's the right couple. Would really appreciate some help.
