PARRY Family - Tibberton / Huntley area circa 1790 (reply)

Hello, I am looking for any possible siblings and their families of Giles PARRY, my Great Great Grandfather. He was born in Westbury on Severn in 1795, and baptised in Tibberton!!!. He was a farmer in Westbury, and married a Mary SMITH in 1817. He died in 1854 and was buried at Huntley. his possible parents were James PARRY and Mary PALMER. Giles Had five sons:- James born 1824, Edmund 1827, Robert 1829, Joseph 1831, and George 1834. Thanks to this excellent site I have placed more pieces into the jigsaw puzzle, having found this site when I spoke to Glos. Records Office. I subscribe to 'Ancestry' and built my tree so far, but this site has enabled me to take it further.
I hope someone can help me to take this further still, many many thanks in anticipation

Not sure where your Westbury on Severn birth is documented, but this seems a good fit for his parents, esp the PALMER reference, even if later struck out !, and Giles PALMER being a grandfather.

Its not unusual to see an Enumerator record a place of birth as village X when in Village X - in this case ditto marks are liberally used on the page

PARRY Family
